Kailash Giri called from Chandrapura, Bokaro to talk about the death of Ganesh Mahto, a migrated labour on the 7th January, 2013. The incident was followed up many times by JMR which compelled the administration to set an enquiry team into the matter. He also reported that the family of the migrated labour are yet to get any welfare benefits from the Government. He requested the Governor of Jharkhand and other concerned bodies to take immediate note of the matter and also speed up the delivery of posthumous benefits to the keens of the victim. He also recommend initiatives for spreading awareness among the rural mass in this regard.
