Information of critical administrative guidelines regarding exam scribes and special cash prizes was communicated by Bhaskar from Ariyalur. For regular higher studies covering undergraduate, postgraduate, B.Ed, M.A., or M.Phil degrees, differently-abled students can arrange their own scribes by submitting a formal recommendation letter through their respective college to the affiliated university registry. However, for standard state-level board exams like the 10th and 12th standards, the state government automatically allocates qualified scribes through trained physical training instructors. Similarly, a structured system of government-approved scribes is deployed for core state public services including TNPSC Group 1, Group 2, Group 4, TET, and TRB examinations. In contrast, candidates preparing for national recruitment tests such as Net, Slet, IAS, UPSC, SSC, Banking, or Railways must proactively manage and register their scribe details on the official online application portals during the initial registration process. Additionally, under a progressive welfare scheme managed by the State Directorate for the Differently-Abled, candidates who successfully pass the TNPSC Group 1 preliminary exam are eligible for a specialized one-time incentive of ₹50,000 to fund their main exam coaching. To claim this support, candidates must present their Group 1 clearing certificates, institutional coaching bills, Aadhaar card, ID card, UDID card, alongside their academic mark sheets directly to the department for standard electronic disbursement.
