I am calling from Vivekananda Children's Hospital to say that after much effort, I was able to admit my brother to the 'Andha Alok Samiti' (Blind Light Society) in Kalyani. I got their address through 'Amar Bani.' Some of my friends sent me the directions and the address. Following that lead, I was able to enroll my brother in the candle and incense stick-making program. For this, many thanks to 'Amar Bani.' I also want to thank those who helped me. Through 'Amar Bani,' many friends, especially Kunal Chatterjee and someone named Uttam Mondal, who sells incense sticks and is my classmate's husband—meaning his wife and I studied together in the same class at the Lighthouse for the Blind—he helped me a lot.
