Hello, my name is Devkumari Kshetri. I am a student of Class Eleven and I stay at Prerana Educational Center. I attended the three-day Life Skills session, and I really enjoyed it. Through fun activities, we were able to learn many things. We learned about problem solving, goal setting, partner work — meaning how to work with a partner — and how to do teamwork. Among all the topics, the one I liked the most was problem solving. Because when we face difficulties in solving a problem, Sudha Ma’am explained to us very clearly how to find solutions. We learned it very well, and I liked this part the most. Overall, I liked all the sessions of the Life Skills program, but this one was the best for me. I would like to give a big thank you to Sudha Ma’am on behalf of all of us.

Hello, I am Biswajit Manna. Currently, I am doing the Foundation Course at Prerana Education Center. First of all, I would like to thank the authorities of Prerana Education Center for giving us such an opportunity, through which we are benefiting a lot from this Life Skills training. It was a three-day Life Skills session. I learned many things and gained a lot of new knowledge. The part I liked the most was about emotions. From problem solving to emotional understanding, everything was taught very beautifully. Until now, we believed that if any emotion feels bad, we should remove it or finish it. But here we learned that every emotion is important in our life — we just need to manage it properly and keep it under control. Everything has a role in our life. This was a very valuable lesson for me. Apart from this, we learned some exercises. For example, there were fun English-song-based exercises like ‘hands up, hands down,’ which ma’am taught us with music. I realised that these exercises not only help our body but also bring a sense of happiness to our mind. I really enjoyed that. We also learned about SMART goals — what SMART goals are, what the full form of SMART is, and how to create goals that are realistic. We understood that while planning for our dreams or aims, we should think of something that is achievable in real life, not something impossible. Along with that, time management is also an important part of achieving goals. These were the key learnings from the session.
Hello friends, I am Kavita Golen from Prerana Educational Center. Today I have come with some information. On the 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th of November, we conducted a Life Skills session. This Life Skills training was arranged for our students, trainees who come to learn computers, and also for their parents. In the session, we discussed many topics like goal planning, logical thinking, how to solve problems, how to manage one’s thoughts, how to manage one’s work, how to understand others’ feelings, and how to work in a team. There were practical demonstrations as well. Sudha Ma’am from Vividh Anyable India came and conducted this program for us, and it was a very useful program. It is very helpful for everyone individually in our regular life because when we communicate or behave with others in the community, or when we need to keep ourselves calm, these skills are very important. This course was very good and effective for our students, trainees, parents, and teachers—everyone. And now we can already see some positive changes among them.
