This method was convenient because many of them were unable to go anywhere without assistance. However, now the pension is being transferred to bank accounts, where they often face issues accessing the funds. Many do not have a way to withdraw the money, and their fingerprints may not work properly, leading to the bank manager denying the withdrawal. Due to their age and disabilities, they are unable to travel to resolve these issues.

Sanjaya Kumar Mallik, the SDA President from Dhirikuti Basti Ward 11, shared that the drain in our settlement was connected to the main drain at the back of our households. This connection put at least 11 households at risk of waterlogging. During rainfall, the main drain would get clogged with waste, causing the water to reverse back suddenly. As a result, wastewater would enter three households, affecting people with disabilities and elderly individuals living near the drain. Their daily use items and documents got soaked by the water. We have requested support through the IVRS and the caller's club to address this issue and prevent further climate-related risks.Sanjaya Kumar Mallik, the SDA President from Dhirikuti Basti Ward 11, shared that the drain in our settlement was connected to the main drain at the back of our households.
