Muni Naik, a tribal woman from Mayfair Nagar Ward 16, shared through IVRS that when the settlement began, 4 to 5 households had no access to water and electricity. To get water, community members had to walk 2 to 3 km carrying buckets and vessels to store water for the day. As the population grew, the government started supplying water directly to the settlement, eliminating the scarcity of water and electricity.
