Conjunctivitis -Eye Flu A poem recorded by Kabita Sahoo, Sanitation-Sub Committee Member, Indira Maidan, Ward-38. The poem has been published on Janhit Vaani, Bhubaneswar Eye flu has come, a challenge we face, Spreading slowly, at its own pace. Eyes turn red, tears start to flow, Swollen lids and discomfort show. Bright light hurts, yellowish goo, Simple steps to help, for me and you. Keep hands clean, avoid the touch, Wash eyes gently, don't rush. Wear shades outside, keep dust away, Separate things clean, every day. No crowded spots, be wise, Consult a doctor, if in doubt, be precise. Simple precautions, easy to heed, Face eye flu with care and speed
