I am Sundrapandiyan, state group member of Association for the Rights of All Persons with Disabilities. Agriculture Bill 202 has been passed in India. Indian Govt is saying that this will bring positive changes to agriculture and workers. The reality is, this bill is a big time opportunity to make agriculture as corporate. For example there is condition in that bill that a product grown in Sathur can be sold anywhere in India. But in reality the corporate owners will make a contract with farmers and they will fix a rate. They will buy it, store it and make is black and will create black market and sell when the demand is high and make huge profit. Before Agriculture Bill, there was act called Essential Commodities Act. In this act necessary food items like rice, lentils and wheat were included. But now they have remove rice, lentils and wheat from essential commodities. By removing this India will face the problem of removing the right of Govt fixing the price and huge owners like Ambani will buy it all together and sell it by storing. Also through this act ration shops will be closed at the earliest and Indians will face huge problem. So our view is Agriculture Bill should be revoked. Because we differently able people are running our lives with this essentials.
