I am Sudha from Vizhithugal. Babu, from Erode dist Gattichuveri MGR colony, was working in a vests company in Tirupur. While working in company he died all of a sudden. He didnt get any kind of compensation. He was working in that company from last 9 years. He didnt get any labour insurance or labour welfare scheme immediately. Vizhithugal took action and spoke to the management of the company. And helped his family in getting Rs.80,000. If vests companies give health and life insurance to the workers the workers family should have got a big amount. Since there are no insurance in that name of the labour, the family didnt get any compensation immediately. With the help of Vizhithugal the family got Rs.80,000 yesterday. I am Gayathri. During corona we are not getting properly. If 10 people are woking in a company only 5 of them are getting work. Remaining 5 are at home. And half salary is given. Livelihood is getting affected without salary and job. only 20% of people have job. Their needs are not fulfilled. Govt should work towards it.
