In this fund, both employee and employer give their contribution. Central labour ministry decides the contribution for ESI. Employees of Companies which are registered in this scheme should fill the form and give a family photo. Every worker will be given insurance ID card. You need to register it only once. The person who has got insurance will be given temporary ID card. This is valid for 3 months. If the person continues the work he will be given permanent ID card. This ID card is useful to get medical and pharmacies benefits and also to get assistant funds.
