I am Chellammal from Mangalamkombu. I am member in construction workers union. I have got 15kg rice, 1kg lentils and 1ltr. We are not going to work due t corona. Thanks alot for helping us in this situation.
I am Appualagu from Meenakshi colony. Due to corona we are not able to go to any work. I went by walk to ask for construction work. But i didnt get any. Dont know what will i do. Yesterday vegetable sellers came to our street but i didnt had money to buy. Rs. 1000 given by Govt is not sufficient. It will be good if they give another Rs.1000. We can manage another 2 weeks with that money.
Nagarathinam Interviewing Sanitation Worker Kokila - She gets monthly wage of Rs.2600. Now due to corona she is working 7am to 6pm. Her husband gt provisions from ration shop. Daily including Sundays she is going to 8 villages and sprinkling the medicine.
I am Samuthirapandi from Madurai dist. Thirumangalam Taluk. From the day 1 of lock down i didnt go to work. All of us are at home and not going out. We are washing our hands often with soap. Unnecessary we are not going out of house. If we need to buy essentials only one person from house goes and buys things. Govt has given Rs.1000, rice, lentils and oil but that is not sufficient for us. But still we are staying at home.
I am Sumathi from Kondaipatti. Govt has given Rs. 1000. How can this money be sufficient? All vegetables are costly. What will workers do? It will be good if Govt gives extra Rs.1000. Secondly crowd is more in meat shops. People are not afraid of corona spread. So Govt should close meat shops.
1) Anganwadi workers lack necessary safety equipment in corona virus related works. Tamilnadu Anganwadi workers association secretary Daisy has requested to provide equipment for next 15 days. 2) The ministry of home affairs has given permission to some industries to start working from April 20th. Central Govt has given permission to start work with 50% of employees, Tea, coffee, rubber farm work can be done. Bank will function on regular time, workers of 100 days work scheme can work by maintaining social distancing, all good can be supplied though road, train and airways, milk buying and selling works can be continued, ration shops and essentials shops can be open. Industries which are located in less populated area can function. And construction work can be started.
