I am Jayasudha. Today relief materials for construction workers was given at Kodaimalai Ration shop. 15 people from MGR Nagar and Maduraiveeran koil street got it. Some people didnt get it because they dont have the xerox of welfare bard card which got it from welfare board. So they didnt get it. Some people had mistake in their Adhar number. Welfare board said the Adhar number they sent is different. SO they denied to give.
I am Kuruvammal from Meenampatti, Semmalar union. Branch data was collected in Meenampatti area. Those who have welfare board card asked when will they get money. We explained them that its only for construction workers and auto drivers.
I am Nagarathinam. I spoke and conducted survey for migrant workers over phone. Due to lockdown they are not going for work. I asked whether rent was collected. They said no rent was collected for this month.

I am Bhagya from Kondayampatti. Rs. 1000 given by Govt is not sufficient. I live in a rented house. The owner is nor asking for rent. I work in a company. Company is closed now. I am struggling alot. Dont know what to do. It will be good if Govt gives Rs.3000
Nagarathinam Interviewing Suppamaamma - I went to ration shop. They gave soap to wash hands. After washing hands rice, lentils and Rs. 1000 was given one by one by maintaining social distancing. Due to lock down and corona its become very difficult. We are sitting at home. I have a daughter and son. We are staying safe at home by cleaning and disinfecting the house.
I am Ponmadathi from Irkankudi. We thought lock will be till 14th. But it has been extended till 30th. Its sad. But even in this situation Kapasuram kashayam was distributed in our Panchayath, bleaching powder was sprinkled in our village. Sanitary workers are keeping the road very clean in our village. We would like to thank them.
Mariammal Interviewing Prasad- He is from Kotthayam village Ottanchathiram. He says everyone is following lock down and nobody is going out. He says its sad that lock down has been extended till 30th. Because he cant go for work. He didnt get provisions from ration yet. But he says it will be good if the quality of the rice given is good. Availability of things in shops are less now. They dont have the stock and the price is high.So he is finding it difficult to buy. He says Govt should take action to reduce the price.
