I am Mariyammal from Ambedkar union. We are uniting women labours and working for them. We are helping them in getting card, scholarships, legal helps and many other helps we are doing. We have conducted a conference in Chennai for minimum wages. 15 people died in Mettupalayam by wall collapse. We have conducted protest for that. we have conducted protest to increase money in welfare schemes. we have done so many things. Women should come to a leadership level. I am a young widow. I dont want to be inside 4 walls. I want to work for this society. People will talk so many things about you and your caste. Overcome all that and women should be role models. I am head in widows union. I am working for them. I have faced so many obstacles but still i am continuing my work for the people.

Still Ambedkar union is doing some work, we are popularising NK radio by making calls. Collecting datas from nearby villages. 2) On 21st we collected datas from Pookal village. Number of students studying in 10th to 12th are 9. Among 9 student 1 is a girl student. Number of students pursuing Higher education are 12, among them 6 are girls. Number of people willing for Vocational training are 10, among them 4 are girls. 2 girls came forward to become future leaders. Found 3 school dropouts and among them 2 are girls. 3) NK radio was popularised in near by villages and daily 10 people are calling from each village without fail. 4) Agriculture workers, forest item pickers, construction workers are struglling due to no work. 5) Some workers are finding difficult to repay their Micro finance loan. 6) Govt should take more initiate to test people about this infection and all facilities should be provided to check and stop this virus. TN Govt and local Govt should focus more on non stop supply of food items and water to labours.
