1) Corona virus is spreading across Tamilnadu is full speed. And it mainly dangerous for people who are above 60 years. hence Tamilnadu Govt has requested people above 60 to take precautionary steps. 2) Chief minister has requested everyone to cooperate Tamilnadu from entering third stage of Corona virus. Extra 3 months time will be given to pay Water tax, income tax crops loan. CM also requested house owners to give 2 months to pay house rents. 3) From today Rs. 1000 and 1 month ration will be given to 2 crore ration card holders. Also informed the collector to make necessary arrangements to control the crowd.
I am Priya. To control corona virus central Govt has announced lockdown from March 22nd to April 14th. Due to this unorganised workers are suffering alot. Especially almost 8 lakh people work in unoragnised sectors in Viruthunagar dist. Central and state Govt should give Rs. 10000 and free provisions for 3 months.
I am Mahalakshmi from Aditamilar union. Unorganised and construction workers can have their daily food only if they go for work on daily basis. Due to Corona virus Govt has announced lock down. Is being safe enough? They are saying whether we die from corona or not but for sure we will die from hunger. 18 kg of rice is given in ration shops only if there are more than 4 people in one house. It will be good if it gives more rice. And also Govt has told that it will give Rs. 1000, it will be good if the amount is increased and price hike should be reduced. These are the 3 requests i am putting forth.
Jayasudha Interviewing Irudhayaraj - He is from Mangalamkombu village near Kodaikanal. He says Due to lockdown he cannot go to work and struggling alot. They are not able to go outside to buy anything. He is a cooley worker and gets Rs.250 as wages. Without job they font have any money for daily expenses. Govt has announced to give Rs. 1000. And ration will be given. That is not sufficient for our 1 week.
Jayasudha Interview Ranjith Kumar - He works in a hotel in Kerala. He gets the wages of Rs. 6000 per month. Due to lockdown he is not getting any money and its becoming difficult for him to manage. Due to shutdown everything is closed there. So he came to his native. Due to 144 impose, only one person can go out to buy essentials. He says he will believe Govt's promise of giving provisions and money only when it reaches his hands. He feels Rs. 1000 not sufficient.
1) Surya Prakash, owner of Knitwear company in Tirupur committed suicide by jumping from Private accommodation. 2) Chennai Municipal Commissioner says if anyone violates section 144 in Chennai, they will be imprisoned for 6 months. 3) Rs. 1000 will be given to rice ration card holder across Tamilnadu says CM. I think my information will be useful for you. We are working to give awareness for low caste women. Be brave and attend all the activities related to women rights. Earlier i was very shy to talk to men. Never used to talk to anyone bravely. We used to think we shouldnt go here. Because people around me were like that. Now i have grown up to a level where i tell people that we should be like this and we shouldnt grow our daughters like this. I have protested for minimum wages, also participated in signature campaign for National Education Policy, 80 women have participated in Labours conference in Ottanchathiram.
Grievance: I am Kavithaponnu from Tirumangalam dist Thathankulam. I gave petition at Madurai for Abandoned by husband certificate. They said you have to get signature from VO. We went to VO and he asked for any document related to Abandoned by husband. I said i dont have any document for that. Its been 6 years that he left me and i dont have any proofs related to that. He is asking for either death certificate or Divorce certificate. I am not able to do anything. We went till Madurai. we are women in similar situation. Please help us. Reply: I am Ponnusamy from TLRF. The certificate for abandoned by husband is the certificate given by Tahshildar. Role of VO is he willl give the certificate by checking marriage certificate or by verifying from village heads. A petitioner if she is staying away from 5 years only then she will be considered as abandoned by husband. By applying it in e-service center you can get the document within 15 days.
I am Balamurugan from Sathur. Fire accident has happened in Chippiparai village near Sathur. The reason for this accident is, they are making new varieties of crackers without training and proper safety. Secondly if all the dangerous has been removed no one will come for work. So they are denying to teach workers, next is labours are forced to do the work on emergency basis. All these should be addressed and removed.
