With the intention that general public should not be affected during lockdown Rs.1000, rice, sugar, lentils and Oil were given for free for the month of April. After the extension of lockdown, free provisions are given for the month of May from 4th. Those who dont have family card and those who cannot buy ration even after having family card can call 1070 and 1077 helpline numbers and Govt is helping through taluk office. Regarding this when called to this and inquired, they said that its a fake news and no such information has been given by Govt. So those who have family card can only get the ration items.
