I am Velankanni. I am member in construction workers union. Our salary is not sufficient. I get wages of Rs. 200 per day, it is not sufficient. For men they pay more. we are getting loan to manage things. Govt has told that they will give Rs. 1000 it is not at all sufficient. It will be good if they give some more money. Imposing Section 144 should have been announced little early. for those who have money will manage, but daily wages its difficult to manage. So far there is no corona threat in our area. We are staying at home. If it continues it will be difficult to manage. It will be great if Govt gives extra money. I am Eswari from Kodaikanal. I get Rs. 160 daily wages. After corona virus threat we are staying at home. My husband is not working. I am the only earning member. With Rs.160 i have to manage paying loans and manage to buy food items. At present onion is sold at Rs. 130. everything is costly. How can we manage? Now we are getting loan and running the family. I have to repay the loan after going back to work.
