I am Latha from Perungudi. Monthly our EB bill will be Rs.500. It will be good if they come on monthly basis to read the EB meter. We will pay Rs.500 or Rs.1000 monthly. During corona they didnt come to read the meter. Its their fault. Now they have given all the amount in one go. Already people are suffering without job. EB bill is more in this time. Everyone is asking to register about this. If they come on time we will pay it properly.
I am Nagam from Perumbakkam. Here our electricity bill is more. Usually our EB bill will be less. We used to pay Rs.250 but now we are getting Rs.3000. We are finding it difficult to pay. UK should take action about this.
I am Kamala from Munthirithop. We never get EB bill more than Rs.50. Its been 10 years that we have got EB connection. So far we have paid Rs.30 - Rs.50. We have not even paid Rs.100. But today we have paid Rs.200. We are already struggling to manage family, to buy milk for kids. I am registering here for PTS.
I am Vijayalakshmi from Eri scheme. During corona we are all at home without any income and job. Somehow life is going. Usually the EB bill will be Rs.2000 or Rs.2500. Such people have got the bill of Rs.12000. How can we pay so much? Whatever Govt gave relief fund it seems they are collecting it back with interest. Almost everyone got bill like this. Our union should ask about this. All are struggling. Some people have just TV, fan and fridge. They have got Rs.8000- 9000 as bill. Some have got more than Rs.10000. Whether the meter reading was wrong dont know. How can we pay in this ce where we dont have job and income.
