She asked for water and she was told you are not supposed to drink water, you can keep the can here, we will fill the water and you can take it when they are not there. She called me cried hard. I went and gave her a milk packet for Rs.10. Still I am feeling sad for the situation.

I am Saraswati from Kelambakkam. Wine shops are open in Tiruporur, so people are going by walk from here to by liquor. Till now people were peaceful that they are safe at home because they are not going out. Now TASMAC shops are open at so people are going to Vellore and Tiruporur by walk. This was the complaint when we went today to take survey. They said this 45 days being at home without money didnt feel as a problem because husbands were at home and they were happy with the family. Corona was not a big problem but this alcohol is a very big problem. It will be good if the wine shops are closed. People will save money and they will be happy with their family and kids.
My name is Revathy we were in a very difficult situation. We requested help by recording on the radio and after informing in the Night at around 8 P.M the Village Administration Officer (VAO) along with police officials visited our house and saw my son who is an MR child and my husband who is also sick. After seeing the condition of our family the VAO gave five hundred rupees to us. And then in the morning the officials came and gave rations - 10 kg rice; 1/2 liter oil and vegetable to us and the neighboring three families. Thank you so much for your help.
