I am getha from Tiruvallur dist. I am an incharge in PTS. Special gram sabha meeting was organised in Chinnambedu area. The village office has conducted a survey on how 100 days work is functioning. They also asked for the problems faced by people. We all asked to extend 100 days scheme to 200 days work scheme. We have also written a petition and submitted. We all feel that, since agriculture is no more helping, it will b great if 100 days work scheme is extended.

We have also asked for sewage facility and road facility. They said they will look into it. We dont have street light facility They said they will fix street lights. We dont have enough water facility. They said we have raise fund for it. And they already spoke to higher officials but due to lack of fund we are stuck. People from all areas participated. People spoke about drinking water facility, road facility, and also requested to remove wine shop near Kandinagar area. Not only that they also spoke about hygiene. Removing the trash, clearing sewage water, etc was discussed. Everyone spoke clearly. Even the answer from officials was clear. Few things they said they will do it immediately, and few they said once the scheme money comes we will do the work. Gram sabha meeting went on well.

Auditing 100 days work card, In anjivakkam panchayath i saw this, because of elections they say no gram sabha should be conducted. That Gram sabha was held today. They addressed problems faced by people and spoke about 100 days work. Even auditing sir was present there. This was conducted in front of village office. Thank you
