I am Veni from Kanniyamma nagar. January 26th is Republic day and Gram sabha will happen on that day. Govt's order is to fulfill the decisions taken during gram sabha meeting. Here we asked to close TASMAC shops but the demands were not fulfilled. Maharashtra Govt has told that if the gram sabha decides to shut down liquor shops, it must be closed. I think it will be good if the same thing happens in TN. Since the local elections are over, gram sabhas are happening in all villages. So I request all to attend gram sabha.
I am Geetha from Tiruvallur. Saturday a lady called me and told me that she wants to join welfare board. Over the phone i told her first you should not join welfare board. I will meet you first and then explain you. Sunday i went to her village Podhuvoil. I met her and told her that first you have to join PTS through them you have to join welfare board. Only then we will be able to get the benefits. I have told her to join many other members to union. She told only sundays she will be available. I have told her to gather 10 people on Sunday so that i will speak to them.

I am Sangeetha from Thiruvallur PTS. Tomorrow 8th of January, condemning central Govt;s anti labour and anti people laws protest is happening across country. As a part of supporting this protest, PTS and GAFWU we are gathering near Thirvallur Gandhi statue at 11 am. We request all incharges and members to participate and support the protest.
I am Amudha from Valluvar nagar. Yesterday i faced a problem and shared it with PTS members. They came and spoke to school principal. While talking to him we told about PTS to him, he understood about it and about the problem too. He himself got involved and solved the issue. So thanks to PTS. I have been talking about PTS. 20 people have told that they will join union.

I am Sangeetha from PTS Tiruvallur. Now we are at Koodapakkam area. Opposite to 12th block there is Sewage treatment unit. Due to that there is a foul smell and residents have complained about it. So Uma Ravikumar from corporation is here now. She has told that she will take good decision for the sake of people living here. Men, women and workers of 12th block are talking and discussing. We believe that they will take a good decision.
I am Saraswathi from Tiruvallur dist. I went to Thozhilur area. I have spoke to few workers like people who do business and other types of workers. They have not joined yet. We have spoken to them. We have shared about our union and its work.
