I am Vidhya from Ambattur Sathyanagar. I am an incharge. Camp conducted in Amattur was really useful for those construction workers whose card was yet to renew. I told them to go and renew it. 10 of them cam and renewed it.
I am Santhanmari. We have asked for a camp in welfare office. Vimala and Vijayalakshmi has gathered 40 domestic helpers from Mogappair, Gangaiyamman nagar, Ambedkar nagar. We have joined them to union and gave union book. Now we have to join them to welfare board. Since the count is high, we have asked Tiruvallur welfare office to conduct camp. They have allotted today's day for the camp. 4 people from board will be coming. 84 new registrations, 15 for scholarship, 4 about pension, 20 for renewal. We have called and informed all incharges. If anyone of you have to get the renewal please get it done. If you are not renewing it, the card will be invalid. Renewal is important. This is a request to all incharges. Camp is happening in our Ambattur Taluk office. Requesting all to get the card renewed.
I am Vijaylakshmi. Today me and Vimala conducted meeting in Ambedkar nagar. 20 people attended the meeting. We have told them about union. Many people asked what is the use of joining this union. We have explained them the benefits. Some people accepted and some people said no.

I am Rathnavalli from Pudur. Meeting was organised by PTS in egmore. Many heads from different fields were present. They spoke very well and motivated us. Thanks to all of them. I want to attend many such meeting and people should make use of it.
I am Geetha from Tiruvallur dist. On 4th February seminar was conducted. Henry sir, Kalpana mam, Neha mam and many other speakers were present and spoke about women rights. It was good. They spoke very well about how it is helpful being a member in union. Office staffs did so much of work for this. Thanks to them.
I am Santhanamari from PTS. On 4th PTS conducted meeting in IGSA Elumbur. All domestic helpers from all branches were present. I was happy to see many old branch and branch members. All the domestic helpers were happy to see the leaders speaking. All the incharges said that they will follow it. Thanks to all.
I am Sandhanamari. On 4th Tuesday, seminar for domestic helpers is happening in IGSA jeevan jyothi. Requesting all to attend the meeting. Many organisation, labour commissioner will be attending the meeting. We need to put forth our request.
Sangeetha: Sis, pamphlet has been given from our union. Kani: Yes. Even i got it. And mam has asked me to come without fail. But the house owner where i work, they wont give leave. S: Sis, our mam told us very clearly that its our day, our work, work responsibility, and they will be talking about labour laws. K: True, But S: What else are you thinking? because of being in PTS we are clear. Now you that what is minimum wages K: I know. In the 2018 August month Govt has fixed minimum wage of Rs. 39 per hour. S: Sis, is this Rs.39 per hour is sufficient for our family. K: Not enough. So we are asking for Rs. 80 per hour and constantly we and union is fighting for it. S: Thats why I am saying. Commissioner and other officials are coming for meeting. We must go sis. K: Ok. I will participate in the meeting which is happening in Elumbur On 4th at 9am. S: Not only that we must know the laws related to us and then we must tell it to others. K: Ok friends, do participate in the meeting happening on 4th February in IGSA and know rights and laws elated to us.
