I am Kani from PTS ambattur. On 26th Gram sabha meeting is happening. Our PTS and UK is giving awareness about it. This is 1st gram sabha meeting of this year. This will happen with the new ward members who have won election. Do attend it without fail. If gram sabha decides to shut down liquor shops it has the power to close it completely. So requesting our members to record the decisions taken in gram sabha in UK.
I am Subathra from Ayapakkam. Protest happened near Ambattur Canara bank. All members participated in it. We insisted on Minimum wage for domestic helpers should be Rs. 18000. Monthly pension for unorganised workers should be Rs.5000, free bus pass for women workers, stop privatising the public sectors, decrease cost of living, create new jobs, social security schemes for unorganised workers should be introduced.

I am Kani from Ambattur PTS office. Yesterday incharges were present in Ambattur PTS office. We have told about Need for protest, our demands and we have also given the pamphlets. We have asked them to give the pamphlets to all members. First do read the pamphlet completely. Condemning central Govt anti labour rule we are conducting protest on January 8th. Any domestic helpers, ready made garment workers, small vendors, tailors, constriction workers, all workers lets join and get our rights.
I am Sumathi from PTS. Tomorrow i.e January 8th condemning anti people and anti labour rules of Central Govt Nation wide strike is happening. Condemning the acts like banning beef mutton to CAA act and insisting on safety of women and girl child, safety of women workers, wages equal to work, weekly off, free bus pass for women workers, education for children, good medical facility, we PTS and GAFWU has decided to conduct protest in different places.
