I am Subathra from Ayapakkam. During this corona time Santhanamari mam visited PTS colony, Sathya nagar and spoke to people and recorded their needs. No one can be like her. Even at this time she is visiting people and talking to them about their needs. My thanks to her.
I am Kani from Ambattur PTS. Hope all of you are safe. On behalf of May day PTS has putforth certain demands. 1) To improve the livelihood of unorganised workers, Tamilnadu Govt should give Rs.10000 monthly. 2) Give relief fund fund for unorganised workers based on their union ID card. 3) Rs.3000 monthly pension and provisions in ration should be given for Single women, Old age people, widows. 4) 100 days workers should be paid during the lock down days. And 100 days of work should be increased to 150 days. 5) Migrant workers should be registered in welfare board on their Adhar ID card. 6) Health ministry or Labour welfare ministry should give safety equipment to the workers who will be back to work after lockdown. 7) Decisions taken by Govt about labours should be discussed with union representatives. 8) TASMAC shops should be closed permanently for the welfare of TN labours. These are our demands. All our PTS members has agreed to these points even in this time of difficulty.

I am Rathnavalli from Pudur. I have already recorded that road side flower sellers are vendors are suffering. Thanks for accepting it. I got a call from UK, saying we have got a recording about it. Did anyone contact you about it. I am happy to know that there is someone to inquire about us. I have asked to help, road side flower sellers, other vendors and auto drivers. It will be great if they can get some help.
Kani Interviewing Gunasekaran - He is a tailor and his wife is a domestic helper. Now he is not able to open his tailor shop. His wife is also not able to go to work. They are struggling to run the family. Rs. 1000 given by Govt was sufficient for 1 day. They are struggling for one day meal. He says good that TASMAC shops are closed. There is chance people to leave this habit. Many of his friends use to fight by drinking alcohol. But their families are happy now and they are able to save some money.
I am Pushpavalli from Mannurpettai. I am happy that Govt has brought schemes. People should obey the rules of Govt.
I am Selvi from Valasaravakkam. I am member in PTS and i am a construction worker. Due to corona i am not going for work and suffering alot. Sandhanamari mam helped me by giving Rs. 2000 and my son was on the way to give forms for Corona relief fund. Police blocked the vehicle. Mam said she will help.
I am Rathnavalli from Pudur. A person told about TASMAC shop closure. I am happy for that. But many people has lost life by buying from black. Secondly people are drinking Varnish and other things. I worried and sad about our people. Only when TASMAC shops are closed our country will grow. Even i support this and would like to tell this to Sujatha mam.
