I am Subathra. Kani told about breastfeeding week. There is no other thing best than mother's milk. But now a days people are hesitant to give to their kids. If the baby is hungry, please feed them even if its a public place. Its good for their health. I liked Kani's talk about it. I am vijayalakshmi In today's UK everything was about Gram sabha. August 15th is nearing. Everyone please take part in it and tell us what all happened in the gram sabha meeting. Kani told about breastfeeding week. Mother's milk is the best food for babies. I spoke to a person about it. She is hesitant and scared to talk directly. So I am going to say what she said. Her child was admitted in hospital and baby was not able to drink mother's milk. Everyone in the hospital told her to pump out the milk and throw. But she didnt wanted to do that. A nurse told that there are many kids without mother and mother's milk. So she thought of giving the milk to other babies. Daily she used to go to hospital and feed the babies. She didnt waste the milk rather she fed other babies. She told me this. I was proud that the woman didnt waste it but fed other kids.
I am Kani from PTS. Once August month starts first thing comes to our mind is Gram sabha and second one is Independence day. Both the days are very important. Not only that, world breastfeeding week is celebrated from August 1 to 7. Every women knows he importance of giving breast milk. But if the baby is crying out of hunger please dont avoid to feed even if its a public place. This awareness is given in many countries. Many babies like Orphan babies, prematured babies, or HIV infected babies are not getting mother's milk. To address this issue many mothers milk bank are functioning. From 2016 this mother's milk bank is functioning. Many babies are getting benefits because of this.
I am Kani from Ambatur PTS office. Poongodi and Kani has discussed about the good and bad about minimum wages. We would like to convey our wishes on behalf of PTS. Detailed explanation about minimum wage was given at the end. My thoughts about this is, minimum wage has done no good to any worker. At least because there is a law wee are asking questions. Almost all the workers are in the situation of no permanent job. Only if they use law completely, labours can benefit out of it. Even if they are constraining the 47 laws into 4 main laws, only if its in the favor of workers, it will be welcoming.
I am Sandhanamari from PTS. Camp has been organised on behalf on welfare board. WE have registered 25 people though PTS. We have applied for scholarship, pension and renewal. People said that going here was much easier than going to Tiruvallur. So friends, if you are not a member, please come and become member here. I feel that if you are member in union, you can achieve many things. So everyone please become members.
I am Santhanamari from PTS. We have Saraswathi with us. She is a new member. She is here to talk about what she is planning to do next. I am Saraswathi and i am coming from Gangayamma nagar. I came to office to become member. I liked it and there are many people in this area. I think i can join 40 more members. As of now i have joined 50 people. I have told about this to everyone. I have to join 40 more people. We are doing great in this area. We told this to madam. Madam came to our area. I have told madam that we should keep board and do many more things. From 1 year i am getting pension regularly. We never get any pension so easily. But after coming here, we are getting things done without much efforts. Madam is taking care of all things. I have joined many people to PTS. I have personally taken them to Tiruvallur and registered their name. I have joined more than 100 people. I have joined my daughter in law and her friends. I went and inquired there. When i inquired about it, i realised that, i cannot join here but people around me who are struggling can make use of it. So from past 2 years i am joining people here. S: How many people have you joined so far? J: Around 40-50 people i have joined. Even today i have brought 3-4 people for their pension. They are here to get new membership.
