I am Karpagam. I am a member in PTS. I have joined 10 people in PTS. All of them have got membership card. i am going to join 10 more people.
Today Leone sir came to AKR nagar. He asked everyone about what do they know about pension and urimai kural. 20 of us attended the meeting. He took our interviews and made everyone talk. All of us in AKR nagar are listening UK on daily basis. Our work didnt go in vain. Everyone answered really well.
Ia m Sangeetha from PTS. Yesterday Unitex workers of Chevvapet visited Tiruvallur dist collector. More than 70 workers participated. We went to give petition for their arrears amount. The collector said within 15 days he will take action.
Kani interviewing Vijaya, a construction worker. She is member in PTS from last 1 year. Earlier she was member in some other union for 20 years. She is also helping many people to renew their old cards. Yesterday she went to Shenoy nagar to collect freebies by Govt like Helmet, spects, shoes, gloves etc which are given for construction workers. She gave forms for 20 people but only 10 of them got selected and got the items. She took 10 of them with her and got the freebies
I am Mari from Cholan nagar. I am here in labours union Ambattur. I am 60 years old. So i came to apply for my pension. The number of domestic helpers is more in Cholan nagar. I am here for their pension too. I am doing tailoring jobs. I am happy to know that unitex workers have got their pension after their protest. Collector has told that within a week he will get the pension. i am happy to know that. Even i am a tailor. It will be really great if the workers get their pension. I am here in Ambattur to get the pension. I will be happy if i get the pension.

I am Vijayalakshmi from eri scheme. My neighbor was working in garment company. She said that even if she takes leave for 4-5 days for being sick, the company is deducting the salary. Since i am a domestic worker, i am not aware of it. Annadurai sir came and explained me about it. Then i explained her. She told me that even she was not clear about it. Since i am a part of union, she asked me about it. Thanks to sir for explaining it to me. Whatever doubts we may have he explains us. PTS is the place where we get solution. I am Vijayalakshmi from eri scheme. Today PTS branch office is inaugurated in Tiruvallur. I have got the invitation and I will be attending it. Our mam should open many more offices like this and PTS should grow. All women should get safety and legal help. Lets all women join together and open in opening our own company. I am happy that we are opening a new office. We all work together.
