I am Pushparani from Vadanimalai. Many people spoke in UK. Many workers said they went to collect Pongal gift by leaving 1 day salary. Govt should have gave it in ration shop. When we asked the same to officials they said it i given block vise. Workers are asked to pay heavy amount as bus fare. I arranged van and collected Rs.50. The worth of the gift is Rs.400-500. Also physical workers should be given Pongal gift like construction workers. And construction workers should have given Rs.2500 like given in ration card.
