Sumathi explained well about unions in VC. During initial days many women were scared to join union. Even now few women are scared to join the union. Because they are not permanent workers, they are daily wagers. I told them if they join union their work will be made as permanent. One person named Kasthuri, her husband died. SO she was supposed to get that job. I played the audio of Sumathi to her. And asked her to join the union. She realised it and said she will join the union.
