The issue is that if the KYC is not completed, their UDID disability certificate may get stopped, and they will face difficulties. I have received information that the UDID for persons who are partially blind may get cancelled if KYC is not done. So those who have not completed their KYC should please get it done. Also, those who are receiving pension benefits—your pension may also stop if KYC is incomplete. For totally blind individuals, there is no problem as of now—no new guidelines have been issued.
