My name is Ravi Kumar Shah. I am 100% blind and I am originally from Bihar. Currently, I live in Mubarakpur, Dwarka, Delhi. I would like to tell Maya ji that you were talking about a machine for identifying currency notes. So why use a separate machine when you already use a touch mobile phone? In the mobile phone, there is an application specially made for visually impaired people. The name of this app is “MANI App”, developed by the Reserve Bank of India. Please search for the MANI App on your mobile. When you open it, you will get language options—select Hindi. After that, you will see an option for visually impaired users; select that option and install the app. After installation, hold the currency note about two centimeters away from the camera. The app will tell you the value of the note. For example: Show a ₹10 note → it will say Ten rupees Show a ₹20 note → it will say Twenty rupees Show a ₹50 note → it will say Fifty rupees Show a ₹100 note → it will say One hundred rupees Show a ₹500 note → it will say Five hundred rupees In this way, you can easily identify currency notes using the MANI App. Please install the app and try using it. Crores of blind people in our country are already using the MANI App, and it is very useful. You should also use it, and then you won’t need to go through the trouble of buying or using a separate machine. Thank you.
