Hello, I am Chandrakant, a visually impaired friend. You were demonstrating a Moto G phone and showing some of its features using the voice system. You showed a few things — like reading messages and some basic features. But I want to know — since you have been using this phone for a while — when we type a message, does it speak the letters (A, B, C, D) as we type? Also, when we save someone’s number and type a name, does it speak the letters or the name as we type it? In short, when typing in the message box, does it read aloud each character (like A, B, C, D or Hindi consonants/vowels), or not? If yes, please explain how. If not, are there any other phones that support this feature — like the old Nokia models (S5, C5, M-series) or Itel phones such as 5250 and 5170, which used to have voice support? I couldn’t get those phones earlier, so I’d like to know if such talking phones are still available. Also, please explain how to check the time on the Moto G phone, and give a little detailed demo of how to operate it. If Moto G doesn’t have these accessibility features, please tell me which phones do — because for blind users, three things are most important: Announcing the time, Speaking letters while typing, and Announcing battery level and charging status.
