Dipak Kumar Singh from Hazaribagh called up to complain about the Forest Fires started by local villagers to pick Mahua Flowers. He informed that in the month of Chait, the villagers residing in the rural and hard to reach areas of Jharkhand start forest fires to pick Mahua thereby causing immense harm to the forest. He requests them to consider the pollution and harmful effects of burning down forests just to harvest Mahua and stop this harmful practice.
