Sakardev Kumar Verma from Deori, Giridih called to share with the listeners of JMR about Birsa Munda, who is one of the well-known tribal freedom fighter who marked his presence in the freedom struggle. He said that Birsa Munda was born on 15 November in the year 1875. He was named after the day of his birth according to the then prevalent Munda custom.
