Farkeswar Mahto from Topchanci, Dhanbad called to inform the listeners of JMR about the illegal stone mining unit operating on the banks of Jamuniya river near Khera Bera village. This has been going on without the consent of authorities of mining department from a long time which has now turned as threat to the lives of inhabitants living nearby. There has been instances reported of close escape from stone flying to residential premises from explosion carried out in the mining sites. He concludes with a request to the concerned government bodies to enact urgently and stop the illegal mining from causing more loss to nation's natural resources and public life.
