Rajmani Yadav from Lesliganj block of Palamu district called to inform the listeners of JMR about the adivashi maha khumba mela. He said that, this celebration is done to mark the successful rule of King Madnirai, who was very popular among the people. He said that ruins of Kings rule can be still seen in the Fort of Palamu. He also informed that, all the people of the area take part in the celebration, as they still feel linked to the goodness of King Madnirai of Palamu.
