Sandhyarani Pradhan from Nalco Nagar Adibasi Basti, Ward 16, reported through IVRS that they are facing numerous issues with the government-provided drinking water facility. They are currently only receiving water once a day in the morning from 7 am to 8 am, which is insufficient to meet their daily needs and maintain hygiene. This is particularly challenging as they belong to the tribal community, so they don't seek assistance from other places. Additionally, some people do not have access to toilets, leading to open defecation, which compromises their safety and dignity.

Manohara Murmu, from Laxmipur Santana Basti ward 16, shared in IVRS about the issue which is affecting their settlement. The community toilet in their settlement had broken down, which causing problems for the community people’s, because of the non-functional toilet has led to various sanitation and health challenges, impacting daily life and well-being. She urged that repairing the community toilet would greatly benefit everyone, alleviating these problems and improving living conditions in Laxmipur Santana Basti.

Reshma Begum from Ambedkar Basti, Ward 16, shared via IVRS that 7 to 8 family members are residing near a drainage area with low-lying land, causing wastewater from the drain to enter their homes. Even during light rainfall, the same problem occurs. A trible woman from Birsa Nagar Ward 16 shared in IVRS that in their settlement their is a water logging problem for 12 households due to which they are facing many waterborne diseases, all this happens due to uncleaning of drains.
