I am Vasantha, Deputy Secretary of Ambedkar union. We are at Madurai. Since its corporation water is supplied through lorry. Only twice a week water is supplied. While filling the water somehow there will be a fight. Water wont be sufficient. Tap water comes only once a week. Per house gets only 2 pots of water. Really people are struggling here. Drinking water per pot is Rs. 10. Per day a family needs 2 pot water and they are paying Rs. 20 for water. They buy salt water for rs.1 per pot. And they are carrying the water from 1 km. Thats how they are living. It will be good if the union helps them.

I am calling from Kolakaranpatti. From many days we were facing trasportation issue. The buses used to come around 6am. Nobody were able to avail the facility. Because the timing was not proper. Now the time has been adjusted as per the requirement of school students and working people. Many times the villagers approached transport authorities but no one took any action. But 5 S organisation spoke for us and helped us. Thank you
