I am Nagarathinam. In survey done over phone whether mill workers got salary, they said there are many mills in Sanarpatti. Some mills gave their salary along with relief fund of Rs.1300. They didnt share the mill's name. Its a happy thing that mill gave extra Rs.1300.
Ponnuchamy On Lockdown - Lock down was announced at 8pm and usually all the shops in villages will be closed. Due to this no one is bothered about social distancing and crowded in shops to get essentials. Govt which is supposed to help, is asking for help from general public. Loans payments has been postponed to 3 months but we need to repay it. In our country we dont have proper medical facility to check and control corona. Sanitar workers are asking to give equipment to keep themselves says they dont want our claps. Rather than checking foreign return people and isolating them, the whole country people are suffering. In this 21 days lockdown we can stay safe from corona but we cannot hide ourselves from hunger. There are 42 crore unorganised workers. they have no safety. They get food only if they work. They will have minimum of 4 people in their houses. The provision provided by Govt is sufficient for 4 days only. Workers should get Rs.10000. As per the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 section 10, the owners should give full salary to the workers. It should be tightly observed whether companies are following it or not. Colleges and Govt building should be converted as corona check up centers and free medical check up and service should be given. Safety equipment should be given to medical staffs. Food, water and stay should be provided to people who are stuck. rs. 10000 relief fund should be given to unorgaised workers.

Many such useful laws and schemes has been introduced by Ambedkar. Lets see about all these laws elaborately.

We were hesitant to use it. but now they have fixed the water pipe in toilet and we have good water supply. Toilets are clean. I am working in a mill near Dindugal. Earlier there was no water facility in toilet and buckets were broken. We registered about this in TTCU. Now we have enough water in toilet and buckets are replaced. They are showing importance for toilet facility. Few days back 5-6 people came for visit and the supervisor to keep the toilets clean, repair the doors and walls. After that they replaced damaged doors and painted the walls. Now we feel good to go to toilet. Later we came to know that these steps were taken after the complaint filed in IVR.
