I am calling from Meenampatti. People who have registered in welfare board and for fire cracker workers whose PF is being deducted, they are getting Rs.1000 as relief fund. People who are working under contract didnt get any relief fund. Can they get any financial help from Govt? Can we get the answer for this. Thanks for the question. Tamilnadu Govt has announced to give Rs.1000 for 1,20,200 fire cracker workers working in 1370 companies. If they are members in welfare board money will be credited in their account. So far no GO has been passed about giving any relief materials to contract workers.
