I am Ponmarathi from Arasadi colony, Irkankudi village. I am a tailor. Now the situation is even if I stitch 10 blouses people are not able to pay for it. Govt has announced so many schemes but its difficult to manage day to day life. Though the Govt now says not to pay any loan after 2-3 months they will come and ask us to pay the whole amount. It will be more difficult for us. Govt is asking to stay at home for our safety but workload for women remains the same. They have to cook food for everyone. There is no rest for women.
