News read by Muneeshwari from Semmalar union. 1) On 6th Feb weekly planning meeting was conducted at Madurai central office. We discussed the plans for this month. Based on that we have decided to join 60 new members to union, strengthen the branches, finish auditing work and also discussed about Admin team meeting. 2) As per the decision took in weekly meeting conducted on 4th we met Velammal who has won the Sathrapatti election and felicitated her. 3) The petition given in free legal aid program, Nanammal's daughter got birth certificate and Mariyammal got death certificate of her husband. 4) On 7th February 3 people gave petition to Dist legal aid officer. 5) On 10th February 5 people were registered in welfare board. 6) On 11th February weekly planning was conducted we discussed the work done in last week, registering members, branch meeting, audit work and also discussed about income and expenses. 7) Semmalar treasurer and branch members recorded the drama in NK radio.
