Giridih: Ranjan Kumar called from Bengabad, Giridih to share his querry about using pesticide on ladies finger plant, Cucumber and Gourd. He said that the pesticide use has not made any difference to pests on ladies finger plant. Again, using pesticide on Cucumber has caused the plant to fade out. Replying to the queries, the agriculture specialist from PRADAN commented that to get rid of pests on ladies finger plant, the infected parts of the plants should be removed and decomposed away from the plants. He suggested to avoid using Urea in Gourd plants. He concluded prescribing a few drugs namely Corazin or Proclam to be sprayed over the plants after plucking the ripe produce from it. He also suggested ways to look after the fading of Cucumber plants.
