Pappu Kumar called from Birni, Giridih to inform about the unrest in Kapilo Panchayat MNREGA workers over the use of machine instead of manual labors. The Panchayat mukhiya and Panchayat Office workers rushed to the site on a call from the angry workers. While inspecting the site the Panchayat Mukhiya and his co-workers were manhandled by the the MNREGA contracter and the Police had to intervene for rescue, reported an eye witness among the workers.
