Jay Prakash Singh called from Deoghar district to talk about Women empowerment to the listeners of JMR. He stressed on the fact that there is need for more efforts and initiatives to empower Women at the same level where Men stands today. The society has never been an easy place for Women in presence of the dominant male, she has often faced violence, exploit etc. He concluded saying that without an effective work plan to bring Women from behind the curtains to mainstream, this is going to be another decade for the gender gap to get narrowed.
