Md. Iqbal Ansari from Birni block, Giridih called to talk about the persisting inequality between man and woman and the expanding gender gap in the region he belongs. He shared that although a lot of women have got employment under MNREGA, there are still a lot of women who remain backwards. Expressing his concern over the inferiority of womnen, he says that till date women's health and nutrition get least priority. They are still the last ones to get nutritious food. He concluded by saying that education is the only thing that can help women regain their status otherwise their status will keep on deteriorating in the society.
