I want to say that, in my area women went to the police station and spoke about child marriage, child labour, and domestic violence. We spoke to the police in details and they said that they will always be by our side and support us. I felt good after interacting with them as I believe we women will always be safe.
I am Bibha from Bakhtiyarpur, and I am part of the safety panel. I want to say that I got into a meeting with the police and informed them about the problems in my community. Police is readily helping us out. They come to the sessions and actively takes part in the sessions. Women are also actively taking part in the sessions. Many women have been empowered now. Girls are also getting empowered. And I have asked many girls to be a part of the safety panel and have told them that there is nothing to fear, anytime they feel that something wrong is happening with then, they should raise their voices. This is what I wanted to say.
