Krishnachandra was born on 24th August 1894 (alternately 1893) in Madan Ghosh Lane, Shimla neighborhood in a middle class family. He was named 'Krishna Chandra' because he was born on Janmashtami. Although he lost his eyesight, Krishna Chandra's 'Mind' gradually became alert.
