Ms.Rani Patra, Godam Sahi, Ward 49 shared that recently Sewerage line construction work has started and it will help us to clean our tanks.
Ms. Prabhasini Singh, SSC Member, Godam Sahi, Ward 49 highlighted that waste was being dumped in the entrance of our settlement, we community members along with service providers cleaned the garbage vulnerable point and planted tress and now this place turned into a beautiful spot.
Mr. Smruti Sundaray, Godam Sahi, Ward 49 highlighted that recently, shallow sewerage line construction work has begun in our settlement with the support of Ward Corporator, WATCO, and we community members will benefit once it is completed.
Krishna Gouda, a resident from Godam Sahi, Ward 49 highlighted that shallow sewerage line provision has started in her settlement on past three days (November 11, 2025) and after the construction, community members will be benefited.
Rani Nayak, transgender leader, Kalinga Studio Kinner Basti highlighted that she operates Cesspool Vehicle to desludge the septic tanks and safely dispose the sludge into the treatment plant. She concluded that this work bring economic security, provided a dignified life to us and living in the mainstream.
Ganga Kinner, transgender Sanitation Worker highlighted that she has been engaged in FSTP, facilitating emptying septic tank at settlement and Ward level, safely transport the sludge to the treatment plant.
Jaya Kinner, Transgender Sanitation Worker engaged in FSTP and Water Kiosk to ensure safe disposal and treatment of sludge at treatment plant.
Ms. Chandini Kinner, Transgender Sanitary worker from Kalinga Studio Kinner Basti, Ward 23 working in the FSTP plant. She shared that she has been managing the maintenance of record register of cesspool vehicle in the plant. Sanitation work is dignified and respectful and she is happy.
Dr. Manorama Mohanty, Director of Indian Metrological Department forecasted the Early Warning message for next seven days. She shared that dry weather very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.
Swarnalata Sahoo from Ward 49 recorded that Government supply water is being tested in our Ward but she requested to Jal Saathi to test the borewell water. She highlighted that water sample should be collected from alternative water sources and it must be tested.
