Ms.Pramila Samal, Laxmisagar Upara Sahi, Ward 43, SDA president, Elderly representative I am Pramila Samal, SDA president, residing in Laxmisagar Upara Bhoi Sahi, Ward 43. In the past, we used tube wells and borewell water for drinking and domestic purposes. We struggled to get safe drinking water. I along with other members, coordinated with the WATCO division and we got doorstep supply water provision. now 65 households are getting round-the-clock drinking water service. In the past, when it heavily rains, wastewater entered and the water tap was submerged. so, I and other households in my settlement heightened our water tap so that it can be used during critical times.

We are a big family so I constructed one soak pit and twin pit. I have also raised the height of the toilet and commode toilet pan because elderly members of my family could easily access and reduce the risk of the toilet being submerged. I have been registering the desludging demand through the QR code and coordinating with the government cesspool vehicle operators to clean the twin pit and soak pit.
