Dami Bana is from Ambaguda Village of Koraput. He is saying about pumpkin cultivation. They cultivate pumpkin in Rainy days and the creeping plant grows in support of artificial roofs. By early summer when the plants start fruiting, they collect those pumpkins. We eat by cooking food, and also preserve the fruit by cutting pumpkin into small pieces & sun dyed. This can be used as food in other days. We call this as 'Sota'. In our Koraput district every farmer cultivate pumpkin. And in our village we sell these pumpkin at very low price at just 60 rupees per pumpkin which is little costly in town markets.

You can fry the dried chilies with out oil and again dry them under sunlight. Or you can deep fry them in oil and dry them under sunlight. So that these dried chilies sustain for many days.
