Election commissioner has has given the dates and political parties are preparing well for elections. We all know about this. India is a largest Democratic country. This country is ruled by the leaders who have been chosen by people during elections. There may be many levels of elections but we popularly know 2 kinds of elections. One is Tamilnadu legislative Assembly elections and Second is, India Lok Sabha elections. In that we cast vote for our MPs and MLAs. Other than this there is a election for Governor and are other state elections too. India election commission conducts all these elections. This commission was formed in the year 1950. This commission conducts the election for elections across the country. Based on that after completion of 5 years Legislative assembly elections are happening. The political party which wins more seats will rule the State. Now the present CM is Edapadi Palanisamy. In next election based on our voting count the party which is going to get more seats will form the leadership. Voting is the right given to every India citizen as the Recognition for being India citizen. Earlier those who have completed the age of 21 can cast their vote. Now those who are above 18 can cast the vote. When Rajeev Gandhi was the PM, the voting age has been reduced from 21 to 18. In this democratic company voting is everyone's responsibility. I am Sangeetha. I am working in company for more than 10 years. I used get Rs.150 when I joined as helper. Now i am working as tailor. Overlock tailor is given Rs.250 per day. If we work for piece rate we can stitch for Rs.800. I have got PF. It was easy to get. I was working in export company. I dont know about the facilities i got in export company. Now i am working in local company. Many people work for piece rate. Tailors work on shit basis. Many people in my village are working in company.

Nowadays I am not feeling hungry, cant sleep properly, body is shivering, always i am feeling scared. Lakshmi: Ohhhh yes!!! Now I got you. You are planning to go and drink again. I know you very well. Again you will drink? you sinner!!! You f=will never be happy. You are not hungry, not feeling sleepy by giving all these excuses you will ask money from me to drink again. Anand: Hey!!! why are you shouting?? I am not lying, trust me. Lakshmi: No never. By trusting you I saw all the troubles in life. Sathish: Hey Lakshmi!! What happened? Why are you shouting? Lakshmi: Please Come brother. He promised me that he will not drink. 1 week he didnt drink. I thought God is showing favour to me through this. Now he is giving excuses like feeling week and body is shivering, not feeling sleepy to get money from me. Sathish: Hey anand, why are you doing all these? Whatever lakshmi is saying is that true? Anand: Oh brother, please!! You are an educated person, I cannot act in front of you. I promise i not acting and i don't want to drink again, but my body is doing something i am not able to understand. I am not able to sleep, not feeling hungry. If I tell this i know she will shout, thats why i didnt share with her. Today I just told her that I have headache, for that she is shouting like this. Sathish: Ok tell me, it's been how long that you have stopped drinking? Anand: Its been 9 days. Sathish: Immediately after stopping this habit you started feeling like this or just from few days? Lakshmi: Brother!! I will tell you. After stopping drinking habit he was fine for 2 days. Just from past 3 days he is lying like this. Sathish: Oh ok!!! Now I got it!! Lakshmi: Now you got his acting? Sathish: Oh my dear Lakshmi, this is not acting. This is called as withdrawal symptoms. It means, your husband was alcoholic for many years. All of a sudden when he stopped drinking habit his body and mind couldn't resist it. Alcoholic people cannot stop it immediately. when they stop immediately all these symptoms will be seen. So to overcome these symptoms they go and drink again. They should get treatment in hospitals which are especially for this. But many are not aware of it. Lakshmi: Oh brother, only if I take him to the hospital he will be fine? Sathish: Yes dear!! Because your husband has an addiction. So defiantly medication is must. Lakshmi: Ok brother. Please tell me where should I take him? Sathish: Ok dear, Come with me. Silvanus: Friends, listen carefully. Doctor will explain what happens when an alcohol addict stops drinking. Doctor: When he is not drinkng and whatever he undergoes is called as withdrawal symptoms. Due to this. body shivering, being quiet, vomiting, loss of appetite, lack of sleep, confusion, many times they will face psychiatric problem. If you have all these symptoms it means you need treatment. Silvanus: If anyone of you wants to quit drinking habit but if you are unable to leave it because of these symptoms, all you have to do is take the person for treatment.

Till now I was thinking drinking alcohol is just like other habits, like drinking tea or coffee. But I came to know that drinking alcohol will become addiction or like a disease.
